Oakland Museum Hip-hop Exhibit

Today was an interesting day for me, as I visited the Oakland Museum to visit the hip-hop exhibit. It was a wonderful exploration of how hip-hop has slowly, or rather, quickly, snuck into mainstream culture.

Hip-hop isn't just music, dance, art, or fashion. It's a wonderful combination of all of those things. It rose from the ashes of systematic mistreatment of African Americans.

I was able to listen to many classic hip-hop tracks, such as 'Neurotic Society' by Lauryn Hill and 'Love Yourz' by J.Cole. I also played with records and beat pads.
